Hitachi’s NEW DK-H200 series, Point-of-view, HDTV cameras is based on the same technologies and sensors employed with the SK-HD2200 & SK-HD1200 production cameras. It serves as a great complement to installations where robotic POV cameras are to be used in HDTV program production. It can be networked and controlled via the same TCP/IP system as the existing HDTV camera products.
Outstanding picture quality isprovided by Ultra-advanced IT (UAIT) 2/3-in Progressive scan 1080/60p CCDs with over 1,000 horizontal and vertical lines of resolution. Noise-free images are assured with a specification of -60dB. Video enhancement functions include 12 vector color corrector, 6 axis linear matrix, skin-tone color corrector, skin-tone detail with detail-follow-zoom-function, digital chromatic lens aberration correction system, motorized filter wheel and more.
This camera is well suited for cranes, towers, robotically controlled remote observation, aircraft gimbal-mounts, sports, etc. Anywhere the best HDTV 3Gbps picture quality is required with a small footprint chassis.
An SM fiber transmission system is optionally available where HD-SDI video and camera control up to 3Gbps can be extended for more than 3Km. The only requirement would be local power since all copper video and control have been eliminated from its implementation. It can also operate in 1080i mode making it an exceptional performer in dual-camera 3D imaging rigs.
